All Collier County property taxpayers and full-time residents are eligible to receive an annual permit to park at all City of Naples and Collier County beaches for free. The City and Collier County rules are the same by interlocal agreement. City of Naples residents may obtain a free annual beach parking permit from City Hall at 735 8th Street South. The City rules for obtaining a beach parking pass are as follows:
Residents must provide proof of residency, specifically, provide a driver’s license and original vehicle registration, both with the same name and address within the city limits. No copies are accepted of any paperwork.
Non-residents who own property in the city limits must provide an official copy of the Collier County tax statement reflecting an address in the city limits, as well as a current driver’s license and original vehicle registration/rental car agreement. All documents should reflect the property owner’s name. No copies are accepted of any paperwork.
Property Owner is a Corporation/Company. If the property is owned by a corporation or company, the person applying for a beach parking permit must provide the corporation paperwork proving they are a named owner/partner and have legal ownership rights.
Vehicle Registration. If the vehicle is registered to a Corporation/Company, to obtain the beach parking pass, the person must meet all ownership requirements, and provide a letter from the Corporation advising the vehicle is used for personal use.
City beach parking permits are valid at all city and county beaches.
Beach parking permits must be firmly affixed to the inside of the windshield in the lower corner of the driver's side of the vehicle. They are not transferable. Vehicles with valid beach permits may park for free in metered spaces at city and county beaches, beach ends of city streets, and in any space designated as requiring a beach permit. City beach parking permits are valid for one year only. Permits expire on the last day of the month pierced on the front of the permit.
Collier County residents pay for beach parking in their property taxes. A beach parking sticker may be obtained at any of our County Park Community Center locations.
